For breast cancer awareness month , let’s go a step farther and prevent breast cancer! Unfortunately early diagnosis is not that effective! We need to start earlier and prevent ! Beside HRT there are lifestyle changes !
Lifestyle modifications can significantly reduce breast cancer risk. Here are evidence-based measures:
Diet:

2. Fiber-rich foods: Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes help reduce estrogen levels.
3. Omega-3 fatty acids: Found in fatty fish (salmon, sardines), flaxseeds, and walnuts, omega-3s have anti-inflammatory effects.
4. Antioxidant-rich foods: Berries, green tea, and dark chocolate contain antioxidants that combat oxidative stress.
Beverages:
1. Limit alcohol: <1 drink/day for women, as excessive alcohol increases breast cancer risk.
2. Green tea: Catechins in green tea may reduce breast cancer risk.
Physical Activity:
1. Regular exercise: Aim for 150 minutes/week of moderate-intensity exercise or 75 minutes/week of vigorous-intensity exercise.
2. Reduce sedentary behavior: Limit screen time and engage in physical activities.
Other Lifestyle Modifications:

4. Stress management: Engage in stress-reducing activities like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing.
Specific Foods to Emphasize:
