## How can testosterone affect energy?
Testosterone doesn’t act like a stimulant that simply “turns on” energy. Its effects are broader and more gradual.
### 1. Testosterone supports cellular energy production
Our cells depend on mitochondria to produce the energy needed for daily function. Testosterone influences metabolism and the activity of tissues that use and produce energy.
