Mainstream medicine is obsessed with cholesterol as the villain. There is a mountain of evidence to the contrary. That is, it is the DAMAGE to cholesterol by sugar and inflammation that is the enemy. Sugar is misunderstood by the public. They mostly identify sugar as table sugar. Many will tell me, “I don’t eat any sugar” because they don’t use table sugar. There are many hidden sources of sugar.
